I'll introduce you to many of the techniques that help give watercolor paintings a unique look including washes, lifting color, puddling, and lots more. You'll gain experience in the materials and learn to use them to create a solid body of work.

I'll also introduce you to some of my favorite watercolor artists as we work through the class, inspiring you to find creative approaches in art history as you build your technical skills. Beginning and experienced painters alike will benefit from a traditional look at the medium, materials, and painters that make this medium challenging and exciting.
